How are you?<br /><br />The main goal of this blog is to build a bridge between scientists and people interested in conservation biology, population ecology and phylogeography of yellow cardinal, <em>Gubernatrix cristata</em>. During the first semester of last year I have started a research project for the yellow cardinal conservation, with a student’s crew of <a href="http://www.ufrgs.br">UFRGS</a>. We started, first of all, as a pilot project in the city of Pinheiro Machado, focusing the environmental education of school kids. Now I get started with the genetics of this project. There is a Portuguese version of this blog, for those who read in.
